Recommended age 8. Children under the age of 18 are welcome but this is only possible when a parent accompanies and accepts responsibility, in writing, for their personal welfare.

Content
The yacht, ropework, underway, rules of the road, man overboard recovery, clothing and equipment, emergency equipment and precautions, meteorology.

Certificate issuing criteria
Basic knowledge of yachting

This course takes place aboard the school boat.
